Cheeverstown is a voluntary organisation, regulated by the Health Information \& Quality Authority (HIQA).
We provide a wide range of person\-centred services, including residential, respite, and day services to almost 400 adults with an intellectual disability in the south Dublin area.
*The Role:*
Quality Team Member \| Based in South Dublin \| Full Time \| Permanent
*Purpose of the role:*
The Quality Team Member \- New Directions will play a key role in supporting the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of New Directions Day Supports across Cheeverstown Services and will act as Interim Standards Lead for the organisation in its partnership with HSE Day Opportunities.
The post holder will work collaboratively with the Quality Manager, New Directions Programme Manager, Operations team, Team Managers, staff teams, individuals supported, and families to ensure that services are delivered in line with New Directions national policy, evidence\-based practice, and organisational strategic objectives.
The role will have a strong focus on person\-centred planning, quality assurance, service monitoring, and outcomes measurement, including the implementation and ongoing review of the New Directions EASI Tool and associated monitoring frameworks. The post holder will support services to demonstrate measurable outcomes for individuals, ensure continuous quality improvement, and strengthen assurance processes across New Directions Day Supports.
The Quality Team Member will promote a culture where the will, preference, rights, autonomy, and aspirations of each individual are central to all aspects of service planning and delivery.
The post holder will demonstrate strong interpersonal, organisational, facilitation, and influencing skills and will maintain positive working relationships with individuals supported, families, multidisciplinary teams, managers, and external stakeholders.
Requirements :
- Hold a relevant qualification in Quality Assurance, Management, Social Care, Healthcare, Nursing, Human Services, or a related field.
- A qualification or additional training in Quality Improvement, Governance, Person\-Centred Planning, Project Management, or Leadership would be desirable.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development relevant to the role.
- Demonstrated experience working within disability services, social care, healthcare, or a related sector.
- Experience supporting or implementing quality assurance systems, audits, service monitoring, or quality improvement initiatives.
- Experience working within person\-centred and rights\-based models of support.
- Knowledge and understanding of New Directions policy, HIQA National Standards, governance, and assurance frameworks relevant to disability services.
- Experience in facilitating training, supporting teams, and working collaboratively across multidisciplinary environments.
