Quality Standards Officer (Junior to Experienced)

Central Exeter | Hybrid Working Available After Training | £26,227 - £30,000 DOE

We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a large and highly successful property company for a Quality Standards Officer. This is an exciting opportunity for either an experienced quality professional or an ambitious individual looking to develop a career within quality assurance, compliance, auditing, and continuous improvement.

Whether you already have auditing or quality standards experience, or you have a transferrable skill set, full support and development will be provided for the right candidate.

The Role

Working within a fast-paced and demanding office environment, you will support the continual review and improvement of the Corporate Client Services department, helping to ensure the highest standards of service, compliance, and operational excellence are maintained.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Auditing teams, individuals, and processes to identify best practice and ensure consistency across the department.

  • Identifying non-conformances and recommending corrective actions to improve performance and compliance.

  • Working closely with teams to enhance business practices and improve customer service delivery.

  • Identifying training and coaching requirements and reporting findings to the Risk and Governance Manager.

  • Monitoring and reviewing progress following training and development initiatives.

  • Supporting the preparation of audit reports and summaries for senior management and clients.

  • Assisting with compliance monitoring and testing across the department.

  • Embedding best practice throughout the business and supporting colleagues with continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Contributing to departmental projects aimed at enhancing quality standards and operational efficiency.

About You

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and root causes.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

  • Good customer service and stakeholder management skills.

  • IT literacy and confidence working with systems and data.

  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating with colleagues.

Desirable Experience
  • Previous experience in auditing, quality assurance, compliance, or process improvement.

  • Experience producing and interpreting management information and reports.

  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills.

What We're Looking For

For experienced candidates, this role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise within a supportive and growing business.

For junior candidates, we are looking for individuals with excellent people skills, a willingness to learn, strong attention to detail, and the ability to analyse and interpret information. Previous quality control or auditing experience is advantageous but not essential but you would need admin and IT experience as well as some relevant work history.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary of £26,000 - £30,000 depending on experience

  • Hybrid working available following successful completion of training/probation

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
