• Inspection of materials and goods in accordance with company inspection procedures.


• Process and monitor defect reports and escalate to correct departments.


• Identifying and control of defect items, segregating defect items from whole batch.


• Inspection of outgoing goods, ensuring products meet with customer requirements.


• Working on own initiative as part of a small team, ensuring to continuously support production in a timely manner.


• To ensure all tools and equipment are correctly calibrated, and fit for purpose.


• Ensuring all HSE policies are adhered to during all tasks.


• Any other duties requested by your manager / supervisor which is within your capabilities and in the interest of the business.

• Excellent attention to detail.


• Self\-motivated and use of own initiative.


• Strong communication and ability to work independently and within a team.

• Knowledge of inspection methods


• Experience on a variety of measuring equipment (e.g. Micrometers, Verniers and various gauges)


• Good understanding of technical drawings


• Computer literate on MS Office 365 and Navision (Microsoft Dynamics)


• Previous experience within Inspection would be beneficial


• Other relevant mechanical experience

Pay: From £27,300\.00 per year
