We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer on a 6 month contract, to join a leading aerospace manufacturer in Derby. This is a generalist quality engineering opportunity, focusing on driving product quality and continuous improvement.

Quality Engineer

6 month contract – Outside IR35
Monday to Thursday 8am -4:45pm, Friday 8am – 12:30pm
Hourly rate dependent on experience

Quality Engineer
Job Description

  • Manage product quality issues, investigations and production support.

  • Lead root-cause analysis, 8D investigations and non-conformance resolution.

  • Work with manufacturing teams to prevent recurring quality issues and drive improvements.

  • Liaise with customers to resolve quality concerns and implement corrective actions.


Quality Engineer
Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
  • Proven experience working as a Quality Engineer within the aerospace industry.

  • Strong knowledge of product quality processes, including root-cause analysis, 8D, non-conformance management and problem-solving.
