Quality Engineer

The Role
------------
The Quality Engineer plays a key role in ensuring compliance with AS9100 and UK CAA regulatory requirements, while supporting operational teams in maintaining the highest quality standards.
Operating with a high level of autonomy, you will work cross\-functionally across the business and liaise with customers, suppliers and regulatory bodies. This is a hands\-on role combining product verification oversight, quality investigations, auditing and continuous improvement activity.
- Ensure compliance with the Ontic UK Quality Management System and applicable regulatory requirements
- Support product verification activities, including inspections and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)
- Lead and support MRB activities, non\-conformance investigations and root cause analysis
- Conduct internal and external audits and support customer quality activities
- Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives across operations
- Act as Certifying Staff for approved products

You will bring experience within an aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of:
- AS9100 (latest revision) and AS9102
- Non\-conformance management and root cause methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, etc.)
- Internal auditing practices
- Working with operational teams to improve quality performance
You’ll be detail\-oriented, proactive and confident communicating at all levels, with the ability to balance compliance requirements alongside operational priorities.
