ABOUT THE JOB
Reporting to the Product Quality Manager, this role contributes to quality control throughout the production process, supporting the analysis of non\-conformities, issuing and managing supplier deviation requests to customers, handling customer complaints, and implementing corrective and preventive actions, with a focus on technical documentation, acceptability criteria, and continuous improvement.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge of company procedures and work instructions, including established best practices, and ensures their correct application.
- Understands and applies customer specifications related to products and processes, as well as requirements for the notification and management of non\-conforming products.
- Issues and manages supplier deviation requests in compliance with specific requirements, ensuring proper internal recording and traceability (ERP updates and data server archiving).
- Coordinates the investigation of internal and external non\-conformities, promoting the implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions (e.g. RCCA, 8D).
- Participates in regular customer meetings, gathering feedback and identifying opportunities for quality performance improvement.
- Manages customer source inspections, ensuring adequate quality support.
- Maintains continuous alignment on the progress of assigned production orders by actively participating in production meetings.
- Contributes to the analysis of quality performance (e.g. scrap, rework, customer complaints), providing data and reports to support the Product Quality Manager.
- Supports the verification of the correct application of acceptability criteria and quality procedures throughout the entire production process.
- Manages quality support activities related to the monitoring and resolution of production orders with open issues.
- Manages and keeps quality documentation up to date, including work instructions.
- Reviews and updates procedures within the area of responsibility, ensuring alignment with internal requirements and customer specifications.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Technical or scientific high school diploma, or a bachelor’s degree in any technical or/and engineering fields.
- At least 2 years of experience in product or process quality within industrial environments.
Required
- Ability to analyze technical and process\-related issues.
- Knowledge of quality tools (e.g., RCCA, 8D).
- Familiarity with ERP/MES and Quality Management Systems (QMS) for managing non\-conformities, traceability, and production data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong customer focus and continuous improvement mindset.
- Good communication skills, attention to detail, and a problem\-solving attitude.
- Hands\-on approach and ability to work closely with production teams on the shop floor.
- Experience in data analysis and statistical tools (e.g., capability analysis, trend analysis, Pareto)
- Familiarity with tools such as Minitab, Excel advanced, or Power BI
- Basic knowledge of special processes (e.g., thermal spray coating, heat treatments, welding)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications, including acceptability criteria
- Experience in customer interface and handling quality topics (complaints, inspections, deviation requests)

PHYSICAL DEMAND:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 5 kg and occasionally lift and or move up to 20 kg. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This is a full\-time position, with business core hours of Monday through Friday 8am to 5 pm. As an exempt employee, you will be required to work additional hours to support business demands.
