Quality Engineer

About the Role
As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key part in maintaining and improving product quality across our manufacturing operations. You will carry out in‑process and final inspection of precision components, manage quality documentation, and work within an ISO 9001 quality management framework. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong eye for detail and a hands‑on approach to quality control.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform in‑process and final inspection of high‑precision components.
- Work in accordance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System procedures.
- Complete detailed First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
- Manage and maintain the calibration of inspection and measurement equipment.
- Document all inspection results accurately within the QC system.
- Support production teams with quality‑related queries and corrective actions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the quality function.
- Experience in a Quality Engineer or similar role in manufacturing.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Positive “can‑do” attitude with the ability to work independently and use initiative.
- CMM programming skills (Mitutoyo MCosmos) are a strong advantage, but training will be provided.
- Experience with calibration system management.
- Ability to produce accurate First Article Inspection Reports.
