IASME is committed to helping organisations improve their cyber security through an effective and accessible range of certifications. We are looking for a highly organised Administrator to support our cyber assurance programmes.

This is an ideal role for someone with strong administrative and coordination skills, who is comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy environment, and who has a genuine interest in cyber security (you don’t need to be a cyber expert—curiosity, attention to detail, and a structured approach matter most). You’ll be responsible for keeping processes moving, maintaining accurate records across systems, coordinating stakeholders, and providing clear, professional communication to assessors and applicants.

A large part of the success of our rapidly growing company is due to the diversity of our team. This allows us to see things differently, approach old problems in a fresh way and offer new solutions. Fairness and inclusion are central to our business and we bring these values to everything we do.

This role offers a mix of working from home and in the office. A BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check will be required for this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administer the Cyber Essentials (CE) Moderations and CE Pre\-certification processes end\-to\-end via the Jira Service Desk, ensuring cases progress smoothly and within agreed timescales.

  • Coordinate and manage weekly moderation allocations, balancing capacity, priorities, and deadlines in a busy operational environment.

  • Maintain accurate moderation records by recording CE Moderation audit outcomes, ensuring data integrity and consistency.

  • Handle high\-volume email and telephone communications with assessors and applicants, responding professionally, clearly, and promptly.

  • Oversee and process Jira Service Desk tickets, triaging queries, monitoring ageing tickets, chasing actions, and ensuring timely progression and resolution.

  • Escalate and refer technical, general, or remedial responses to Moderators for review, ensuring the correct level of technical input is applied.

  • Work closely with Moderators to ensure key information and outcomes are clearly captured and cascaded to Assessors through the Jira Service Desk.

  • Manage spreadsheets and operational data routinely, keeping moderation records consistent, audit\-ready, and reliable for reporting and governance.

  • Arrange and coordinate meetings between Assessors and Moderators, including scheduling, agendas, joining details, and follow\-ups to support timely resolution of queries.

  • Multitask across competing priorities, switching between tickets, CRM updates, scheduling, and stakeholder communications while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Carry out additional tasks as required and adapt to changing responsibilities, which may expand or adjust in line with business needs.
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
  • Strong administrative capability: confident managing processes, tracking actions, and keeping records accurate and up to date across multiple systems.

  • Interest in cyber security: motivated to work in a cyber assurance context and comfortable engaging with technical terminology (with support from Moderators where needed).

  • Excellent communication skills: clear, confident and professional written and verbal communication when interacting with assessors and applicants.

  • Ticketing system experience (e.g., Jira Service Desk): able to triage, prioritise, and progress tickets efficiently, ensuring nothing is missed.

  • Proven ability to work in a fast\-paced environment: able to manage a varied workload, respond to urgent requests, and keep service standards high.

  • Strong drafting skills: able to write effective emails and service desk responses that are accurate, structured, and appropriate for the audience.

  • Great attention to detail: consistent accuracy when inputting data and audit results; maintains high standards in documentation and communication.

  • Excellent organisational skills: methodical approach to tracking work, maintaining audit trails, and coordinating multiple stakeholders.

  • Time management and self\-direction: able to work unsupervised, plan workload, and meet deadlines reliably.

  • Data integrity mindset: accurately update and maintain information across multiple systems, ensuring consistency, confidentiality, and reliability for reporting.
