Vitalis are recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to work in a Mental Health team in Westminster Council.
- Conduct assessments and make decisions under the Mental Health Act 1983.
- Act as a key member of the Mental Health Act assessment team, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and best practice guidelines.
- Collaborate with individuals, families, carers, and relevant professionals to formulate care plans and provide appropriate support.
- Advocate for the rights and preferences of individuals within the legal framework.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to individuals experiencing mental health crises.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, decisions, and interventions.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of holistic care plans.
- Keep abreast of changes in mental health legislation and participate in ongoing professional development activities.
