Qualified Social Worker, Kinship Team, Tameside Council
Pay rate to £39 per hour
Vitalis are recruiting for experienced Social Worker to work in a Kinship Team in Tameside Council.

We're looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Assessing Social Worker to join our Kinship Team, playing a vital role in helping children remain connected to their family networks and achieve safe, stable, and nurturing care arrangements. In this rewarding role, you'll undertake comprehensive assessments of kinship carers and special guardians, providing high-quality analysis and recommendations that support positive outcomes for children. You'll build strong, meaningful relationships with children, family members and carers, offering guidance and support throughout the assessment process while ensuring children's voices remain at the heart of all decision-making.
Working closely with Team Managers and Service Managers, you'll contribute to the ongoing development of the service, support best practice, and help drive high standards across the team. You'll collaborate with multi-agency partners, prepare robust reports for court and decision-making panels, and ensure all statutory responsibilities are met. As a senior practitioner, you'll bring expertise, professional curiosity and a commitment to relationship-based practice, helping families identify and build on their strengths to create lasting support networks for children.
