About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Qualified Maintenance Technician to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging team. This is a shift\-based role supporting production operations through equipment reliability, maintenance excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will play a key role in ensuring optimal equipment performance, minimizing downtime, whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety, Quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production and process equipment
- Support and execute line changeovers efficiently to meet production demands
- Diagnose and resolve equipment faults and breakdowns in a timely manner
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects with a focus on OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
- Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and commissioning
- Work with PLC systems, HMI interfaces, and vision systems for troubleshooting and optimisation
- Interpret and utilise 3D technical drawings and schematics
- Ensure strict adherence to health \& safety and quality standards within a regulated environment
- Collaborate cross\-functionally with engineering, production, and quality teams
- A desired Level 8 degree in Engineering or a Related technical discipline
- At least 3 years' post\-qualification experience in a pharmaceutical or highly regulated manufacturing environment
- Strong multi\-skilled maintenance background (mechanical \& electrical)
- Proven experience in equipment reliability and performance optimisation
- Working knowledge of PLC programming and fault\-finding
- Experience with HMI systems and vision systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical and 3D drawings
- Strong troubleshooting and problem\-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong quality and compliance mindset
- Willingness and availability to work a two\-cycle shift pattern
