Dental Nurse (GDC Registered) – Full Time

We're looking for a caring and enthusiastic GDC\-registered Dental Nurse with at least 2\-3 years experience to become part of our friendly, independent practice in North Kelvinside, just a short distance from Byres Road.

Working Hours

• 38\.5 hours per week


• Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:30pm


• Friday: 8:30am – 4:00pm

This position offers a mixture of clinical nursing and occasional front\-of\-house responsibilities, providing plenty of variety throughout the week. You'll play an important part in ensuring our patients receive a high standard of care while helping the practice run efficiently. Pay review after probationary period (4 months).

Main Responsibilities

• Chairside assistance for a wide range of dental procedures.


• Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining clinical standards.


• Supporting the decontamination process and assisting with LDU procedures.


• Welcoming patients and providing a professional first impression.


• Helping manage appointment bookings and patient enquiries when required.


• Assisting with stock management and day\-to\-day organisation within the practice.


• Providing reception cover during planned holidays and other periods of absence.

We're looking for someone who:

• Holds current GDC registration.


• Enjoys delivering excellent patient care.


• Communicates confidently with patients and colleagues.


• Works well as part of a supportive team.


• Is organised, reliable and happy to take initiative.


• Is comfortable providing occasional reception support alongside clinical duties.


• Ideally has some experience of working with Oral Surgery / Dental Implants

• Payment of your GDC registration.
