We look after around 400 properties, mainly shared houses, on behalf of landlords and investors, and we're known for well\-presented, well\-maintained homes and a hands\-on approach to looking after both our tenants and our clients.

Our in\-house maintenance team is central to how we operate. Keeping our homes safe, compliant and in great condition is what sets us apart, and we're growing the team to keep delivering that standard.

Job Summary

We're looking for a Gas Safe registered engineer who is also confident with general plumbing to join our in\-house maintenance team. You'll be employed directly by Beyond Lettings and will work across the homes we manage for our clients, as well as properties within the wider business.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out landlord gas safety checks and issuing gas safety certificates


• Installing, servicing and repairing boilers


• Completing general plumbing work, including leaks, bathrooms, kitchens and heating systems


• Responding to ad hoc maintenance and breakdowns


• Keeping clear records of certificates and works completed


• Working with our lettings team to keep our properties safe and compliant

Qualifications

• Gas Safe registered with relevant domestic ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 or equivalent)


• Experience in boiler installation and servicing


• Solid general plumbing skills


• Experience in rented or HMO properties is a bonus


• Reliable, organised and able to manage your own schedule


• Friendly and professional when working in occupied homes


• Full UK driving licence


• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and technical documentation.


• Familiarity with assembly processes related to gas systems or equipment.


• Valid commercial driving license preferred for transportation between sites.


• Excellent problem\-solving skills with a focus on safety and quality standards.
