Qualified Dental Nurse / Trainee dental nurse

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate GDC registered Dental Nurse or trainee dental nurse to join our team on a full\-time / part\-time basis. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high\-quality patient care within a dental practice and have a special interest in oral health hygiene.

Duties

• Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.


• Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, answering their questions, and addressing any concerns they may have.


• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.


• Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment areas to uphold health and safety standards.


• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post\-treatment care instructions.


• Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure seamless patient experiences.


• Manage appointment scheduling and follow\-up communications with patients.

• A background in nursing or relevant qualifications that enhance your ability to provide care.


• Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems efficiently.


• Exceptional organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and manage multiple tasks effectively.


• Strong communication skills to convey information clearly to patients, promoting and educating patients on oral health and hygeine best practices.


• A team player with a positive, growth mindset.

Pay: From £12\.21 per hour
