Qualified Dental Nurse/Receptionist

Duties

• Provide compassionate patient care, assisting dentists during various procedures and ensuring patient comfort at all times


• Manage reception duties including greeting patients, booking appointments, and handling patient inquiries efficiently


• Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems and ensure confidentiality at all times


• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards


• Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment plans, post\-treatment instructions, and appointment scheduling


• Support the dental team with administrative tasks such as stock management


• Ensure the practice remains organized by managing appointment schedules and maintaining a tidy reception area

Skills

• Strong patient care skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor


• Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with patients and team members


• Proven experience in nursing or dental assisting roles with knowledge of dental procedures and protocols


• Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping, scheduling, and administrative tasks


• Outstanding organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently


• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail


• Effective communication skills to clearly convey information and foster positive relationships
