Duties
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures by preparing instruments, materials, and equipment to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols, sterilizing instruments and ensuring the clinical environment meets all health and safety regulations.
- Manage patient records accurately using IT systems, documenting treatment details, appointments, and relevant medical history efficiently.
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient correspondence, and maintaining clinical supplies inventory.
- Communicate effectively with patients and team members to foster a positive, professional atmosphere within the practice.
- Uphold organizational standards by ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of clinical areas at all times.
- Valid qualification as a Dental Nurse from an accredited training program with current registration with relevant regulatory bodies.
- Proven experience in dental nursing with a solid understanding of clinical procedures and patient care protocols.
- Proficiency in using IT systems for managing patient records and appointment scheduling.
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with patients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast\-paced environment.
- Knowledge of infection control standards and best practices within dental healthcare settings.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating professionalism and empathy.
Pay: £12\.75\-£16\.94 per hour
