Qualified Dental Nurse

We're looking for a qualified, GDC\-registered Dental Nurse to join our Atlas Road team, full time 4\.5 days per week (part time considered).

As a nurse, you'll work in close sync with your dentist — well prepared, ahead of what's needed, keeping the day running smoothly so problems get caught before they land.

Responsibilities

• Assisting dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety


• Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations


• Providing patients with pre\- and post\-treatment advice, including oral hygiene instructions


• Managing patient records accurately using Dentally and maintaining organised appointment schedules


• Ensuring all clinical procedures adhere to current protocols and legal requirements


• Supporting reception duties as needed, including greeting patients and managing enquiries


• Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both patients and staff

• A recognised Dental Nurse qualification (e.g., NEBDN or equivalent) and current GDC registration


• Experience in patient care within a dental setting is desirable


• Good at anticipating problems and getting ahead of them, rather than reacting after the fact


• A clear communicator — we'd rather hear about an issue early than after it's become one


• Comfortable using IT systems and practice management software (we use Dentally)


• Friendly, professional, and easy to work with — we keep things relaxed, not clinical and cold


• A compassionate approach to patient care, with attention to detail and confidentiality
