The Role
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the finance function across a broad range of accounting, reporting, and strategic activities.
You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation to ensure high\-quality financial operations and contribute to finance projects that drive efficiency and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
As Qualified Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and submitting month\-end management accounts for group consolidation
- Trial balance reconciliations
- Maintaining the fixed asset register and lease reporting under IFRS16
- Preparing internal and corporate financial reports
- Managing VAT, PAYE, and Corporation Tax returns
- Processing weekly payment runs
- Supporting bi\-annual budget submissions to Corporate
- Assisting Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
- Supporting the Irish group consolidation process
- Conducting strategic financial analysis including cashflow forecasting
- Assisting with audit management and compliance requirements
- Leading finance improvement projects, including SAP process automation
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Posting journals and maintaining accurate financial records
- Sharing knowledge and supporting organisational learning within the team
We are looking for a finance professional who is analytical, proactive, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA, AAIA, or CIMA)
- Minimum 2–3 years’ post\-qualified experience
- Strong IT skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
