QHSE LEAD
Allied Aerosystems Limited specialise in the calibration and repair of test equipment from all sectors of aerospace, engineering, automotive and manufacturing.

The primary purpose of the QHSE Lead role is to lead and champion a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility throughout the organisation, whilst being responsible for the quality function within the company.
Specific duties and responsibilities included the following, but are not limited to:
- Manage site certifications including ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO9001 and so forth
- Support regulatory certification requirements
- Manage/conduct internal \& supplier audit program
- Conduct risk assessments, inspections, and audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement, and develop appropriate corrective and preventive action plans
- Manage COSHH, SDS activity
- Maintain knowledge and provide expert advice and guidance to management and staff on SHEQ matters, ensuring understanding and adherence to best practices and legal requirements
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance SHEQ awareness and competency among employees
- Monitor and analyse SHEQ performance indicators, prepare reports, and present recommendations to management for continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to drive the implementation of SHEQ objectives and initiatives
- Manage TGMI Integrated Business Management System and update procedures where required
- Support resolution of quality issues and non\-conformances
- Assist departments / teams with continuous improvement projects
- In\-depth knowledge of relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations and standards
- Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and the ability to develop effective mitigation strategies
- Experience in implementing and managing SHEQ management systems with knowledge of relevant UK regulations
- NEBOSH general certificate in Occupational Safety and Health
- Internal auditor trained (Lead auditor preferred)
- Strong investigation, analytical and problem\-solving skills
- Good communication/team working skills – written and verbal, report writing
- Ability to manage and prioritise work activities.
- Computer skills – Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint
