QA / Testing Engineer (Automotive)

• Remote work: hybrid: 2\-3 times a week in the Turin office.


• Assignment type: B2B contract (Partita IVA).


• Project language: English \+ Italian.


• Project length: \> 10\-12 months \+ extensions.


• Start: ASAP / 30 weeks.


• Workload: full time (40 hours per week).

Summary: The role of QA / Testing Engineer focuses on validating vehicle software functions, specifically through Hardware\-in\-the\-Loop (HIL) simulation, vehicle diagnostics, and Over\-the\-Air (OTA) validation. This position is crucial for ensuring the integrity and performance of automotive software systems.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design, set up, and execute automation test cases on Hardware\-in\-the\-Loop (HIL) test benches.


• Verify diagnostics communications and fault\-handling protocols.


• Validate end\-to\-end functionality of Over\-the\-Air (OTA) updates.


• Create and run complex test configurations, network simulations, and automated test scripts using Vector CANoe.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive software testing.


• Proficiency in Hardware\-in\-the\-Loop (HIL) testing.


• Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics, including UDS (ISO 14229\) and CAN protocols.


• Experience with OTA validation and testing.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with Vector CANoe or similar simulation tools.


• Experience with CAPL scripting for test automation.


• Fluency in both English and Italian.
