QA Team Lead

Walker Cole International is searching for a QA Team Lead to join a growing pharmaceutical business based in North West England. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance professional to take on a leadership role within a GMP-regulated environment, supporting quality systems, compliance activities and the development of a high-performing QA team.

As the QA Team Lead, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Quality Assurance function, ensuring compliance with GMP requirements and maintaining an inspection-ready Quality Management System.

Your responsibilities as the QA Supervisor will include:

• Leading, mentoring and developing the Quality Assurance team to drive performance and compliance.


• Managing quality events including deviations, CAPAs, change controls and non-conformances.


• Supporting validation activities, audits and regulatory inspections across the site.


• Driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring QMS activities are completed in line with business objectives.

The successful candidate for the QA Team Lead position will have:

• Experience working within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotech or healthcare environment.


• Previous Quality Assurance experience with supervisory or leadership responsibilities.


• Strong knowledge of GMP regulations, Quality Management Systems and validation activities.


• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
