Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) Teacher | Tameside | Secondary Provision | Full-Time | September & Immediate Starts Available Are you a passionate teacher looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people who need it most?

Do you thrive on building relationships, overcoming barriers to learning, and helping students rediscover confidence in education?

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a highly supportive secondary Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in the Tameside area, seeking a dedicated and resilient Teacher to join their team. This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity to support young people who have struggled within mainstream education and require a more personalised and nurturing approach to learning.

About the Provision This specialist secondary provision supports students aged 11-16 who may have experienced challenges in mainstream education due to SEMH needs, behavioural difficulties, trauma, anxiety, autism, ADHD, or other barriers to learning.

The provision focuses on creating a safe, structured, and supportive environment where students can rebuild confidence, develop positive relationships, and achieve academic success. With small class sizes, high levels of support, and a strong emphasis on wellbeing, staff are able to make a meaningful impact on every student's journey.

The leadership team is experienced, supportive, and committed to both student outcomes and staff development, creating a positive and collaborative working environment.

The Role As a PRU Teacher, you will deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of your students. More importantly, you will become a trusted adult and positive role model, helping young people re-engage with education and develop the skills they need to succeed.

This role is ideal for teachers who are passionate about inclusion, relationship-building, and supporting students who require a different approach to learning.
