We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Public House General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of service and hospitality. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all operational aspects of the public house, ensuring smooth day\-to\-day functioning.
- Oversee staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management to foster a motivated and professional team.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and company policies.
- Manage guest relations, addressing any concerns promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new patrons and retain existing clientele.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, stock control, and cost management.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely procurement of supplies and equipment.
- Promote a positive working environment that encourages teamwork, leadership, and continuous improvement.
- Proven experience in supervising within the hospitality sector, ideally with hotel or pub management background.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff effectively.
- Excellent guest service skills with a focus on delivering memorable experiences.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Knowledge of human resources practices including recruitment, training, and employee relations.
- Familiarity with hospitality operations, including bar management, food service, and event organisation.
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Pay: £28,000\.00\-£35,000\.00 per year
