Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Pub Manager to oversee daily operations within a vibrant pub environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage service. Duties
- Manage all aspects of pub operations, including staff supervision, inventory control, and customer service.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring quality standards are met consistently.
- Supervise and train team members in serving, food production, and hospitality procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the premises.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to facilitate smooth food and beverage service during busy periods.
- Organise staff rotas, monitor performance, and foster a positive team environment.
- Handle customer enquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and promote a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain stock levels, order supplies as needed, and manage supplier relationships.
- Implement marketing initiatives to attract new patrons while retaining existing clientele.
- Proven supervising experience within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Strong team management capabilities with excellent leadership qualities.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Experience in restaurant or hotel environments with a focus on hospitality excellence.
- Familiarity with barista skills and bar management is advantageous.
- Ability to oversee food production processes efficiently while maintaining high standards.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast\-paced setting.
- Strong communication skills to motivate staff and engage with customers effectively.
