Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Pub Manager to oversee daily operations of our vibrant pub. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and maintain high standards of food safety and service quality. The Pub Manager will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and fostering a welcoming environment for all patrons.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the pub, including food preparation, serving, and bar operations.

  • Lead and motivate a team of staff, including bartenders, servers, and kitchen personnel, ensuring excellent team management.

  • Oversee food safety standards and ensure compliance with relevant health regulations.

  • Manage stock levels, order supplies, and oversee food production to maintain quality standards.

  • Organise staff rotas, training programmes, and performance evaluations to optimise team efficiency.

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and resolving any issues promptly.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the premises in accordance with safety standards.

  • Implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing clientele.

  • Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures (note: salary details are not included).
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management, ideally within a pub or similar setting.

  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations.

  • Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities in a fast\-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.

  • Experience in hospitality roles such as serving or barista work is advantageous.

  • Familiarity with restaurant or hotel operations is desirable.

Pay: £40,000\.00\-£50,000\.00 per year
