A specialist school in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a dedicated Psychology Graduate - SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team on a full-time, permanent basis from September. Working Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm, you will gain hands-on experience supporting children and young people with a range of additional learning needs while developing the practical skills required for a future career in psychology or education.
As a Psychology Graduate - SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, therapists, and other specialists to help students overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential. The successful Psychology Graduate - SEN Teaching Assistant will:
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional learning needs.
- Support students in developing confidence, independence, and engagement within the classroom.
- Assist with delivering targeted interventions tailored to individual learning requirements.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all pupils in Hemel Hempstead.
