Psychodynamic Adult Therapist
We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced therapist to join our lively, supportive, and experienced team based in Cotham, Bristol.
The Bridge Foundation is a Bristol based charity, which has been delivering a range of clinical and training services relating to the needs of children, young people, families, and adults for over 40 years.
The work is challenging, varied, and interesting. You will be offering assessments, short and longer term psychoanalytic/psychodynamic psychotherapy to adult clients. Clinical cases are funded by the individual/family, or (for some young adults) commissioned by services such as Social Services, and The Adoption \& Special Guardianship Support Fund.
This is a flexible PAYE post with the expectation that you will provide a minimum of eight clinical sessions per week subject to service demand. These sessions will be predominantly in person, though some may be delivered remotely. It is expected that you will provide some sessions at the beginning and/or end of the working day. You will be provided with regular psychodynamic supervision groups as well as monthly individual supervision. You need to be available on Wednesday mornings for meetings, supervision, or training.
We particularly encourage applications from individuals who are underrepresented in our industry, including but not limited to people from minority ethnic backgrounds, disabled people, LGBTQ\+ individuals, and those from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.
