OTE: £60K\+ (top earner £90k\+)
Starting Salary: £35,000
Job Type: Full\-time (40 hours pw), Permanent
Location: In Person, Office\-based \- Farnborough, Hampshire

As a Protection Adviser at LetsGoCover, you will:
Key Responsibilities
- Contact multiple qualified leads daily, generated from customers who have expressed interest in life assurance products (real\-time, inbound enquiries)
- Engage with existing customers to review their protection policies
- Conduct detailed fact\-finds to understand clients’ needs, circumstances, and objectives
- Research suitable products across a panel of providers, ensuring alignment with client needs and eligibility criteria
- Clearly explain product features, benefits, exclusions, and limitations in a jargon\-free manner
- Address customer questions and objections professionally
- Build rapport and maintain trust with clients
- Accurately assess affordability and relevant underwriting considerations
- Recommend and arrange life insurance policies in line with company processes and compliance standards
- Ensure suitability reports are completed where advice is provided
- Maintain accurate, compliant, and up\-to\-date client records using CRM systems
- Manage personal pipeline, diary, and follow\-ups effectively
- Meet agreed KPIs, including conversion rates, quality scores, and compliance standards (not just activity levels)
- Adhere to all Financial Conduct Authority guidelines and internal compliance procedures
- Apply Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles in all client interactions
- Identify and appropriately support vulnerable customers
- Develop and maintain strong product and market knowledge
- Work towards relevant professional qualifications (e.g. R05\)
- Participate in regular coaching, call monitoring, and feedback sessions
- Stay up to date with regulatory, product, and market changes
· Proven experience in Advised protection insurance sales
· Ability to overcome common objections (essential)
· Excellent verbal communication
· Ambition to thrive in a sales environment
· Team player focused on the success of the business as a whole
· Professional and positive manner
· Enthusiasm to invest time in upskilling and professional development through CPD and qualifications such as CII
· Knowledge around treating customers fairly and willingness to support positive customer outcomes in line with FCA guidelines

Prerequisites:
· Clean credit history *(any past issues must have been resolved, e.g. “in arrangement”)*
· Clean employment references for last 3 years
· Ideally, a clean criminal record. *(Any historic items will be considered on a case by case basis)*
· All successful Sales Consultant applicants will have a DBS/CRB check done prior to starting
Pay: £35,000\.00 per year
