Job Title: Portfolio Manager

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £28,000 – £33,000 per annum (Depending on Experience)

Bonus: Additional bonuses

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (office based)

We’re working with a growing property management business looking for an experienced Portfolio Manager to join their Birmingham team.

This is an on-site role where you’ll take responsibility for a portfolio of up to 180 managed properties nationwide, supported by an experienced team who will assist with administration, maintenance and day-to-day property management tasks.

The Role As Portfolio Manager, you’ll have overall responsibility for your portfolio, acting as the key point of contact for landlords and ensuring properties, tenancies and compliance requirements are managed effectively.

Key Responsibilities • Manage and oversee a portfolio of up to 180 properties nationwide

• Maintain strong relationships with landlords and act as their main point of contact


• Oversee maintenance issues and ensure they are resolved promptly


• Manage rent arrears, collections and rent increases


• Oversee the full tenancy lifecycle, including referencing, agreements, check-ins and check-outs


• Conduct property inspections and viewings where required


• Manage the onboarding of new properties and landlords


• Ensure properties meet all relevant compliance and legal requirements


• Handle landlord queries and formal complaints professionally


• Identify and resolve issues proactively


• Work closely with the wider support team to ensure the portfolio is managed efficiently

About You We’re looking for someone with strong property management experience who is confident managing landlords, tenants and a sizeable property portfolio.

You’ll need to be organized, proactive and comfortable taking ownership of issues from start to finish, while working as part of a supportive team.
