Major Works Coordinator

Location: Wandsworth, South West London
Salary: £30,000 \- £40,000 per annum

Hybrid working

Languard Property Management is seeking a Major Works Coordinator to oversee major works projects and planned maintenance across a portfolio of residential and mixed\-use buildings.

This is a hands\-on role suited to someone with practical building knowledge who can work independently, manage contractors and ensure projects are delivered efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing major works projects from inception through to completion.


• Managing planned maintenance programmes across the portfolio.


• Obtaining quotations and preparing works specifications.


• Managing contractors and monitoring the quality of completed works.


• Liaising with leaseholders, directors, contractors and consultants.

• Previous experience within property maintenance, facilities management, construction, surveying or a similar field.


• Good practical understanding of building maintenance and repair.


• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently.


• Confident communicating with contractors, clients and residents.


• Strong organisational and administrative skills.


• Full UK manual driving licence.

• Experience within residential block management.


• Knowledge of fire safety, health \& safety and statutory compliance requirements.


• Experience of Section 20 major works consultation processes.
