About this Role This Project Surveyor position offers an outstanding opportunity to join a major Tier 1 main contractor delivering key construction schemes in the Coventry area. Working as a key commercial lead, you will manage subcontract procurement, client valuations, variations, and final accounts to ensure optimal project profitability.
- Drive commercial management across subcontract packages, from enquiry analysis and order preparation to monthly payments.
- Produce accurate monthly and quarterly cost reports, cash flow projections, and margin forecasts alongside project leaders.
- Manage client valuations, negotiate contract variations, and finalise main contract and subcontract final accounts.
- Participate in risk and opportunity planning, design strategy development, and compliance with business best practices.
- Hold a Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent) and be working toward or possess MRICS or MCIOB professional status.
- Demonstrate a proven track record in main contractor commercial management, including valuations, variations, and CVRs.
- Show strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, BIM tools, and computer-aided measurement software.
- Possess expert negotiation skills and a working knowledge of construction health and safety regulations.
