Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

Infineon Technologies is one of the world's leading semiconductor companies. Our software ecosystem team builds the developer tools, platforms, and content that help embedded engineers worldwide design and develop products with Infineon components.

We are hiring a Project Manager to drive delivery across the department. This role sits at the centre of a distributed team spanning Munich and India, working across a portfolio of software products, content programmes, and engineering initiatives — all moving in parallel.

You own the programme, define how work gets tracked, surface what is at risk, drive decisions across team boundaries, and keep the department operating at pace as it scales. For newer teams within the department, you will also serve as Scrum Master until those teams have the maturity to run their own ceremonies.

• Own project delivery across all active workstreams, defining plans, setting milestones, and managing risks and dependencies from start to finish


• Run the department's governance rhythm, which includes conducting weekly status reviews, tracking milestones, maintaining risk registers, and providing program reporting to stakeholders


• Act as Scrum Master for newer product teams, facilitating sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives to help teams achieve self\-sufficiency


• Partner with product managers to translate roadmaps into actionable delivery plans, and track execution against them to ensure successful project outcomes


• Drive cross\-team dependency resolution, escalate blockers before they become critical, and ensure timely and effective issue resolution


• Own stakeholder communication for the program, providing status reporting, decision logs, and milestone updates to keep stakeholders informed and engaged


• Coordinate across a distributed team (Munich and India) with clear communication and documented decisions, while also tracking hiring and onboarding milestones to ensure the department's growth stays on schedule

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• A degree in engineering or similar field


• At least 5\+ years of project management experience in a software or technology environment (semiconductor, AI etc.), with a proven track record of managing multiple projects and ideally leading teams


• Background in software product management or developer tools environments is a plus, with experience in managing software development projects and coordinating across India and Europe time zones in a distributed team


• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams across distributed, cross\-functional teams, with Agile and Scrum proficiency, including experience as a Scrum Master and knowledge of sprint ceremonies


• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Project, and certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification, and Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) are preferred


• Familiarity with agile at scale, including managing a portfolio of Scrum teams rather than a single team, and experience with agile project management tools and methodologies is also desirable


• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate program status clearly at every level, from engineers to senior leadership, and program discipline, with a structured approach to tracking work, reporting, and managing risks and decisions as well as excellent written and verbal communication in English, with German being a strong advantage
