Duties
- Lead the site managers and supervisors of the fire protection project teams on a day to day basis, providing clear direction and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Oversee the passive fire system (One Trace) to ensure that the fire protection project teams are completing the deliverables required of them.
- Develop detailed project plans covering scope, programme, resources, and risk management.
- Act as a main site contact for client and internal teams, to provide updates and address any issues as they arise.
- Creation of project programmes for larger schemes.
- Manage project budgets, monitor costs, and ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints while maintaining safety, quality standards and client satisfaction.
- Support with the development of quotes.
- Support stakeholder communication through reports, progress meetings, and any other requirements stipulated in the scope for the relevant project.
- Oversee the Projects Administrator in the development of resource schedules.
- Management of RAMS and ensuring all works comply with CDM Regulations, fire standards and operational requirements set out in Oracle policies.
- Proven experience of managing complex construction projects from inception to delivery.
- It is key for the induvial as the day to day Project Manager to have problem solving skills to overcome issues promptly as they arise.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct and motivate teams.
- Full UK driving license
- Excellent organisational and planning abilities, capable of managing multiple fire‑safety related projects concurrently.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience of managing projects with fire protection systems such as fire doors and fire compartmentation.
- Understanding of UK fire regulations, including the Fire Safety Act, Building Safety Act, CDM Regulations, and relevant British Standards.
- Proficiency in project management software's and tools such as MS office Projects.
- Construction related qualification minimum ofNVQ level three or project management related qualification.
- BM Trada or Firas accredited (desirable)
- SMSTS
- Fire protection or life‑safety‑related projects.
- Experience of commercial management (JCT / NEC)
- Knowledge of fire protection systems such as sprinklers, fire alarms and emergency lighting.
Pay: £40,000\.00\-£50,000\.00 per year
