We are seeking a Project Manager to manage the planning, execution, and on\-site delivery of projects within the NEC4 FM Government contract, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, health and safety standards, and client expectations.

Job Description

We are looking for a delivery\-focused professional who can combine strategic project management with hands\-on site leadership, bridging office\-based planning and field\-based execution to ensure seamless project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules in line with NEC4 contract requirements.

  • Coordinate resources, stakeholders, and supply chain partners to ensure timely and cost\-effective project delivery.

  • Prepare and complete programmes across the project lifecycle.

  • Administer NEC4 processes, including early warnings, risk registers, and compensation events.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure alignment with public sector governance requirements.

  • Support procurement activities, prepare tender documents alongside the Quantity Surveyor, and manage the tender process.

  • Facilitate collaboration between office and site teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to maintain project progress.

  • Monitor project performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs, manage risks and change control, and ensure project reporting and variations are properly documented and agreed.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
  • Proven experience in project and site management within FM, construction, or government environments.

  • Strong working knowledge of NEC4 contracts and public sector delivery standards.

  • Experience managing contractors and site operations, including health and safety compliance.

  • Familiarity with project controls, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Hands\-on and delivery\-focused with strong organisational skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across office and site environments.

  • Proactive problem\-solver with a safety\-first mindset.

  • Resilient and adaptable in dynamic, fast\-paced settings.

  • Ability to travel to required project locations.

  • Full UK driving licence required.
