Project Manager - Investment Fund Custody - Permanent

Job description

Context

This role involves coordinating transversal initiatives and projects within a financial services environment focused on custody and banking services operations. The position works closely with the Banking Services Operations – CCS management team to provide strategic project management support and lead data management priorities. The environment includes collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders and requires expertise in investment fund industry processes and client relationship management.

Missions

• Coordinate transversal initiatives and projects involving BSO CCS.


• Provide strategic project management support to BP2S/CCS Management by proactively identifying key activities within Custody that require improvement.


• Proactively identify activities and processes to be enhanced.


• Organize transversal governance within BSO CCS.


• Lead and manage data management topics.


• Work side\-by\-side with the Banking Services Operations – CCS management.


• Provide guidance and leadership to BSO CCS team in management reporting and key strategic initiatives.


• Define and focus on data management priorities.


• Monitor BSO CCS productivity to support Operations in identifying areas of improvement.


• Support BSO CCS managers.


• Prepare, monitor, and challenge accounting certification suspense items in collaboration with different managers and hubs.


• Manage relationships with external and internal stakeholders.


• Coordinate all compliance topics and reporting (CRMS, safeguard of assets, etc.).

Tools \& Environment

• Advanced Excel (preferred) and Access skills.


• Good knowledge of PC applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.


• Familiarity with financial applications such as Bloomberg.


• Strong understanding of investment fund industry norms and securities market processes.

Working Conditions

• Requires fluency in French and English.


• Minimum 5 years of experience in Global Custody activities within the investment fund industry and client relationship management.

• In\-depth knowledge of the investment funds industry and securities market


• Master Excel (preferred) and Access advanced skills


• Good knowledge of PC applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and financial applications such as Bloomberg


• Fluent in French and English
