About The Role
------------------

The Project Manager leads the delivery of network and data centre build and decommission projects, managing projects from initiation through to successful completion. Working closely with engineering, subcontracting, resourcing and customer teams, the role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Supporting the Programme Manager in delivering strategic objectives, the Project Manager will manage complex technical workstreams, maintain strong customer relationships and support technical troubleshooting and system turn\-up activities where required, while ensuring effective control of project risks, resources, costs and performance.

What You'll Do

  • Project Leadership: Lead multiple infrastructure projects using Indigo's Project Management Methodology, developing and maintaining Project Management Plans and ensuring successful project delivery and customer sign\-off.

  • Project Planning \& Control: Monitor project progress, manage risks and implement corrective actions where required. Prepare resource forecasts and project phase plans to support effective delivery.

  • Customer Management: Act as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, building strong customer relationships and ensuring timely customer input and approvals to meet project milestones.

  • Reporting \& Governance: Report on key project metrics, including cost to complete and effort at completion, and conduct internal and external project reviews and monthly service reporting.

  • Financial \& Commercial Management: Manage project budgets, profitability and cost control, including tracking revenue and costs, ensuring accurate billing and purchase order coverage, and contributing to cash flow and working capital targets.

  • Resource \& Vendor Management: Allocate and manage internal and external resources effectively, including overseeing procurement activities and subcontractor and third\-party engagements.

  • Quality \& Compliance: Ensure projects comply with SHEQ standards and client requirements, including appropriate QA audits and project documentation.

About You

What We're Looking For

  • Telecoms Experience: Proven experience in engineering and implementation management within the telecommunications sector, with a track record of delivering full lifecycle projects.

  • Technical Understanding: Strong ability to interpret and manage technical engineering work packages within complex infrastructure environments.

  • Project Management: Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, with a disciplined and organised approach to timelines, budgets, quality and risk.

  • Commercial Acumen: Strong budgetary and business awareness, with a focus on cost\-effective project delivery and achieving commercial targets.

  • Industry Knowledge: Experience with DICI is highly desirable. Familiarity with CTIL and/or MBNL environments would be a significant advantage.

  • Microsoft Office: Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project.

  • Communication \& Leadership: Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with customers, stakeholders and teams at all levels.

  • Adaptability: Flexible and responsive to changing project requirements, including working outside standard hours or in different locations where required.

  • Continuous Improvement: A creative and practical approach to improving project outcomes, methods and processes.
