The opportunity
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Project Manager Engineering or Lead Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will lead and manage converter system projects from sales/tender phase to initiation and through to completion, ensuring Engineering deliverables are on time, within budget, and in line with quality requirements.
How you’ll make an impact
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects in Engineering within defined timelines and budgets
- Lead the technical solution development during sales and tender phase for Engineering.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in close collaboration with stakeholders
- Coordinate internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth project execution
- Communicate project plans, progress, and expectations clearly and proactively
- Assess resource requirements and ensure effective allocation throughout the project lifecycle
- Track Engineering project milestones, timelines, and deliverables using appropriate tools
- Identify technical risks early, manage changes in scope, and implement suitable mitigation measures
- Lead, coach, and motivate project team members, fostering accountability and high performance
- Conduct project reviews and capture key learnings, deriving actionable recommendations for future improvements
- Master’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project execution within an engineering environment
- Experience with power systems and converter systems is a plus
- Proven track record in managing complex engineering projects
- PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast\-paced environment
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem\-solving skills
- Fluency in English is required; German is a plus
