About the Role

Construo Recruitment is working with a specialist interior fit\-out contractor to recruit an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of high\-quality commercial and specialist fit\-out projects across Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional with strong fit\-out experience to manage projects from pre\-construction through to handover. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating subcontractors, managing programmes, controlling costs, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

You will work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams while maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage interior fit\-out projects from pre\-construction through to completion


• Review project scope, drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies


• Develop and manage project programmes, logistics plans, and sequencing strategies


• Coordinate subcontractors across fit\-out, M\&E, and specialist packages


• Chair site progress meetings and maintain accurate project reporting


• Monitor project progress and implement recovery plans where required


• Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks


• Manage RFIs, design coordination issues, and technical queries


• Oversee procurement schedules, delivery coordination, and site resources


• Liaise closely with the Commercial Team regarding variations and project forecasting


• Manage commissioning, snagging, testing, and project handover activities


• Prepare handover documentation including O\&M manuals and health \& safety files


• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships throughout delivery

• Proven experience managing commercial interior fit\-out projects


• Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and M\&E coordination


• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings


• Excellent organisational and leadership skills


• Strong communication and stakeholder management ability


• Commercial awareness with strong problem\-solving skills


• Experience managing subcontractors, programmes, and site activities


• Proficient in Microsoft Office packages


• Commitment to high standards of health \& safety and quality delivery

• Salary of £45,000 – £54,000
