Group Investment Management (GIM) is responsible for managing the proprietary Munich Re and ERGO investment portfolio of around €250bn. Within GIM, overarching investment related tasks are consolidated in the Investment Monitoring \& Operations department. The Business Strategy \& Operations team focuses on business strategy, management and process topics and strives to translate initiatives into scalable and sustainable solutions.

For the Business Strategy \& Operations team, we are looking for a motivated Project Manager who will manage operative and product\-focused projects as well as strategic initiatives in GIM.

Your Job

  • Leading high impact strategic and operational projects and initiatives across the entire investment value chain

  • Ensuring effective project management (e.g., coordinating stakeholders, moderating workshops, preparing presentations/ decision proposals for senior mgmt.)

  • Providing methodological and functional advice as sparring partner to the CIO function’s leadership team when it comes to project related topics

  • Acting as point of contact for New Products and manage the New Product Process (NPP) across the entire investment value chain

  • Driving further the implementation of New Product relevant topics and processes

  • Optimizing interfaces, processes and ways of working with other business units

  • Evaluating relevant market dynamics, trends, and competitor actions
Your Profile
  • University degree with strong academic record, preferably in business, economics or STEM disciplines

  • Minimum of 3\+ years of professional experience in strategic roles, ideally from top tier strategy consulting

  • Experience in investment/asset management is a plus

  • Comprehensive project management skill set in strategic and operational projects with track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to completion and in coordinating diverse teams

  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills combined with a can\-do attitude and a structured, solution\-oriented approach

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, especially strong communication and intercultural skills with the ability to perform excellent stakeholder management

  • High level of commitment, team spirit and an integrative personality

  • Excellent language proficiency in English

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint essential
