About the Opportunity
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager with a strong joinery or carpentry manufacturing background to join a leading bespoke interiors and specialist production business.
This company delivers high-end, detail-driven projects for luxury residential, commercial, and private clients, combining expert craftsmanship with innovative design and precision manufacturing. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a proactive and technically capable Project Manager to oversee projects from concept through to production and final installation.
This role is ideal for someone who understands both the workshop and client-facing sides of bespoke joinery projects and can confidently manage production, installation, timelines, and stakeholder expectations to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage bespoke joinery and interior projects from initial design handover through to completion and installation
- Coordinate manufacturing schedules and production workflows to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and on time
- Interpret technical drawings and production specifications using SolidWorks or similar design software
- Liaise closely with design, production, site teams, contractors, and clients throughout all project stages
- Lead and support workshop and installation teams, ensuring exceptional standards of craftsmanship and finish
- Oversee procurement of materials and resource planning across multiple live projects
- Conduct regular site visits across London, the South East, and occasionally nationwide
- Monitor installation progress and resolve technical or logistical issues proactively
- Ensure all projects meet quality standards, budget requirements, and agreed deadlines
- Maintain accurate project documentation, schedules, and progress reports
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations across workshop and site operations
- Proven experience managing bespoke joinery, cabinetry, or high-end interior fit-out projects
- Background in carpentry, joinery manufacturing, or specialist woodworking
- Strong understanding of production processes, technical drawings, and installation coordination
- Experience using SolidWorks or similar technical design software
- Excellent organisational and project planning abilities
- Confident managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence preferred
