Summary of The Role:
We are looking for a dedicated PMO to lead on strategic and operational change programmes. This role will act as the central point of coordination for programme governance, controls, reporting, resourcing and financial tracking, whilst working with senior stakeholders across the business to provide clear visibility of programme performance, risks, issues, dependencies, and budget position.
Main Responsibilities:
- Owning and maintaining PMO governance, controls, reporting, and assurance activities across various change programmes.
- Developing, tracking and maintaining project documentation library.
- Producing, enhancing, and maintaining programme reporting, dashboards, and management information for senior stakeholders.
- Monitor delivery against agreed plans and milestones, providing constructive challenge and mitigating actions where delivery risks or deviations arise.
- Support delivery teams in identifying and overcoming barriers, enabling progress and successful outcomes.
- Support the identification \& analysis of costs, benefits, risks \& interdependencies \& ensure that addressed actions are incorporated into plans
- Define processes to ensure that planning and estimating are accurate and complete
- Track and monitor project benefits to ensure expected outcomes are realised.
- Supporting financial budget tracking, forecasting, and resource management activities.
- Facilitating programme governance forums, steering committees, and stakeholder meetings, monitoring and tracking actions until completion.
- Managing RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies), ensuring effective tracking, escalation, and resolution.
- Driving consistency across programme delivery through the implementation of PMO best practices and standards.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple business areas, providing trusted PMO support and guidance.
- Previous PMO experience within a regulated sector.
- Knowledge of recognised project and programme management methodologies (e.g. MSP, PRINCE2 or equivalent), governance frameworks, and programme controls.
- Experience managing RAID processes, reporting, and programme governance activities.
- Experience of financial budget tracking, forecasting, and reporting within programme or project environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Experience producing high\-quality management information, dashboards, and executive reporting.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship\-building skills with strong third party management.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, competing and alternating priorities with constant focus on delivery.
