Role: Project Management Lead
Location: Macclesfield, Cheshire, SK11 6QU
Salary: £45\-50k \+ Bonus \& Benefits

Overview
Apex Events \& Exhibitions have been providing innovative exhibition stands UK wide and globally for over 35 years. During a period of significant growth we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Management Lead to lead the Project Management Team including the Project Managers \& Project Coordinators whilst providing additional capacity to the department by delivering projects personally.
Top 3 Priorities:
- Assigning projects and providing effective leadership \& accountability of the Project Management Team
- Developing and implementing efficient Project Management Processes across the department, ensuring adherence and quality management
- Liaising with department leads (Ops, Design \& Business Development) to support smooth project acquisition, implementation and delivery for customers whilst promoting effective internal and external communication
- At least 3 years Project Management experience in Exhibitions, preferably with at least 1 as Project Management Lead
- Proven experience leading teams, with excellent communication, planning \& organisational skills
- Knowledge of custom exhibition stand builds and modular systems such as B\-Matrix and Unibox
- Ability to lead multiple projects and manage client relationships effectively
- Commercially focussed to work with New Business Development in account management and client development.
- Experience in completing RAMS and other H\&S documentation where necessary.
- Experience in ordering onsite exhibition stand services such as electrics and rigging.
- Experience in maintaining accurate files and records for future reference and traceability.
- IT Literate with Microsoft 365 applications and collaboration \& workflow tools such as Airtable
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK and beyond if/when required
- Schedule \& chair weekly department meetings to assign tasks, review progress and deal with any issues
- Forward planning to ensure suitable resource availability
- Recruitment and training of new team members
- Departmental budget management
- Conducting 1\-2\-1’s, reviewing performance and implementing learning \& development needs
- Conduct post project evaluation meetings to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement

Pay: £45,000\.00\-£50,000\.00 per year
