We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Project Engineer (GMP Manufacturing / Utilities) to join our Outsourced Technical Services (OTS) team in PM Group. The successful candidate will be assigned to a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing facility based in Dublin, supporting the delivery of projects within a modern, highly advanced production environment.

Reporting to a Senior Project Manager, the successful candidate will support the delivery of a portfolio of strategic capital projects from initiation through to handover and closeout. The role offers the opportunity to independently manage smaller projects while contributing to larger site\-wide initiatives.

Project execution will be centred on safety, quality, schedule, budget compliance, and adherence to engineering standards, GMP requirements, company procedures, and regulatory expectations.

:

  • Support and deliver projects throughout the full project lifecycle, from concept and design through commissioning, qualification, and handover.

  • Lead or support cross\-functional teams delivering manufacturing, process, facility, and utility\-related projects in a highly automated GMP environment.

  • Provide technical expertise in utilities, ideally GMP clean utilities, acting as a System Owner or Project Engineer where required.

  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, contractors, vendors, risks, and mitigation plans.

  • Support project financial performance, including forecasting, cost control, risk assessment, and lifecycle cost considerations.

  • Ensure compliance with site safety requirements, engineering best practices, and Environmental Health \& Safety standards.

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels across the business.

  • Degree (Level 8 preferred) in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
5\+ years' experience as a Project Engineer within a GMP manufacturing environment.
  • Experience delivering facility, process, and utility projects, including clean utility systems, with technical knowledge as a System Owner or Project Engineer.

  • Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle, including design, implementation, C\&Q, and handover.

  • Proven ability to manage projects from initiation to completion and deliver on schedule.

  • Experience coordinating cross\-functional teams and external contractors.

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Demonstrated experience delivering documentation and project handovers right first time.

  • Ability to develop operating procedures and maintenance/calibration strategies with end users.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Strong understanding of GMP principles and EHS requirements within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
