As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a proactive and highly organised Project Coordinator to join our team and support the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of lift projects nationwide.
About the Role
This is a key operational role responsible for coordinating lift installation, modernisation, and maintenance projects from initial enquiry through to completion.
The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest standards. The role requires excellent communication, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within a demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination
- Coordinate lift installation, modernisation, and repair projects
- Schedule engineers, subcontractors, equipment, and deliveries
- Monitor project progress and support on\-time delivery
- Track materials and coordinate site deliveries
- Organise accommodation, transport, and site access requirements
- Act as a key point of contact for customers
- Assist with quotations, project updates, and reporting
- Maintain project cost records and supplier invoices
- Support management with operational planning
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including RAMS, purchase orders, site files, and handover documents
- Maintain organised digital and physical project records
- Support compliance and health \& safety administration
- Handle confidential information professionally
We're looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicating with clients, suppliers, and colleagues
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
- Proactive and solution\-focused
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Previous experience in a Project Coordinator, Operations Coordinator, or similar role
- Experience within the lift industry is highly desirable
- Candidates from construction, engineering, facilities management, or similar sectors are also encouraged to apply
- Knowledge of lift industry processes and terminology would be advantageous
