Mission:
The Project Controller \& PMO Coordinator supports the Program Director and Project Managers in the financial management and coordination of projects.
This position ensures transparency regarding costs, revenues, purchase orders, budgets, and working hours, while also taking responsibility for key PMO controlling and governance activities.
Responsibilities:
Main Responsibilities and Duties
1\. Project Controlling and Profitability Analysis
- Preparation and tracking of profitability calculations for door trim and cockpit projects.
- Conducting profitability simulations and evaluating the financial impact of project changes.
- Performing regular actual\-versus\-budget analyses and identifying budget deviations as well as potential corrective actions.
- Preparing financial project overviews and decision\-making materials for the Program Director and Management.
- Continuous monitoring and tracking of project\-related costs, revenues, and invoicing activities in SAP.
- Reconciling SAP data with internal financial reports and clarifying posting discrepancies with Finance and Controlling.
- Creating, coordinating, and tracking purchase requisitions and purchasing requests for projects and departmental cost centers.
- Reviewing order values, available budgets, cost centers, and corresponding project allocations.
- Maintaining a central overview and tracking outstanding purchase orders, approvals, and invoices.
- Supporting the preparation and regular updating of departmental and project budgets.
- Monitoring cost centers and reconciling actual costs against approved budgets.
- Preparing budget reports and forecasts and coordinating deviations with the Program Director, Project Managers, and Finance.
- Supporting the annual budgeting process.
- Monitoring the completeness and timely submission of timesheets by Project Managers.
- Identifying missing or implausible time bookings and coordinating necessary corrections.
- Preparing and tracking investment approvals and tooling invoices.
- Managing and maintaining the tooling inventory while ensuring complete and up\-to\-date documentation.
- Supporting tooling invoicing, tracking open items, and maintaining invoicing status records.
- Supporting the Program Director by consolidating and reviewing information provided by Project Managers.
- Tracking agreed actions and monitoring defined project management, reporting, and financial processes.
- Acting as the interface between the Program Director, Project Managers, Controlling, Finance, Purchasing, and other functional departments.
Professional Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training or a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, Project Management, or a comparable qualification.
- Professional experience in project controlling, financial controlling, or PMO functions, including the preparation of project and financial reports.
- Good SAP knowledge and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Knowledge of project management processes and experience in the automotive industry are advantageous.
- Good written and spoken German and English skills; Spanish language skills are an advantage.
- Strong analytical and commercial understanding combined with a structured, independent, and detail\-oriented way of working.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and consistently follow up on open items.
- Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and a team\-oriented mindset.
- High level of confidentiality in handling
