Overview

Marine Specialised Technology Limited is one of the world’s leading designers, manufacturers and maintainers of high\-speed workboats from 5m to 25m in length for global defence and security markets. Operating from two sites in the Northwest of England the organisation currently employs 145 people. The company is now entering a further accelerated growth phase having recently moved to a 6\.5 acre waterside shipyard premises and is on target to double the current £20M revenue over next 2 years with its existing order book alone.

MST supplied 50 vessels to a European user. These vessels have been in operation for over 10 years and 20 are now receiving a mid\-life upgrade. The mid\-life upgrade is taking place at MST’s premises in Bromborough, Wirral and consists of a new console, high\-speed navigation system along with other modifications and improvements.

Purpose of the Position

The Project Administrator will assist with overseeing all aspects of the nominated project including all sub\-projects and contracts.

The Project Administrator will be both customer facing and the main point of contact for internal stakeholders such as Design \& Engineering, Procurement, Production and Accounts

Responsibilities

Project understanding

Internal point of contact for Key Contacts

Assisting with planning for production and procurement purposes

Taking weekly project review meetings

Producing weekly progress presentations

Supporting Technicians

Competence, Knowledge and Experience

Planning and project monitoring experience

IT literate

Commercial awareness

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to pass security vetting

Organised and able to lead

Pay: £28,000\.00\-£32,000\.00 per year
