AWS Developer Experience is looking for a Program Manager to own end\-to\-end operations, reporting, and the global expansion playbook for the AWS Builder Loft program. Builder Lofts are physical developer community spaces where builders come together for hands\-on workshops, hackathons, technical talks, mentorship, and networking. This role is critical for ensuring the Builder Loft operates with operational excellence and scales repeatably as we expand to new cities worldwide.

You will be the operational backbone of the program \- managing event calendaring, budgeting, resource allocation, tooling, and process documentation. You will prepare and deliver Business Reviews with operational metrics, own budget management, and develop the standardized playbooks and mechanisms that enable the Lofts to be a sustainable operation. This is a high\-impact role that requires someone who combines deep program management expertise with a builder mindset. You think in systems, design for scale, and drive continuous improvement through data. You will work cross\-functionally with community management, engineering teams, product, event technology, marketing, and vendors to ensure seamless alignment and execution.

Key job responsibilities

  • Manage end\-to\-end program operations: event calendaring, budgeting, and process documentation

  • Prepare and deliver reports with operational metrics, attendance data, CSAT scores, and budget tracking

  • Produce quarterly newsletters and stakeholder updates summarizing Loft performance and upcoming programming

  • Manage operational tooling (marketing automation tools configuration, project management, and other platforms driving continuous improvement

  • Standardize operating procedures, staffing models, launch checklists, and operational standards

  • Coordinate cross\-functionally with technical teams, creative teams, event technology, community management, and marketing to ensure alignment

  • Own budget management and financial reporting for the Loft program

  • Own feedback mechanisms such as CSAT surveys, research, customer forums and similiar

  • Manage and oversee program operations support channels via Slack and email

  • Oversee efficient staffing by vendors, manage contracts and invoicing

  • Create content for our main developer engagement channels such as builder.aws.com

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
------------------------

  • 3\+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3\+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables \& charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non\-tech teams

  • Experience building processes, project plans, schedules, playbooks

  • Track record of managing budgets, financial reporting, contracts, POs and invoices
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3\+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3\+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience preparing and delivering business reviews with data\-driven insights and recommendations

  • Demonstrated proficiency using AI tools to drive efficiency, automation, and scale in operational workflows

  • Familiarity with the developer community ecosystem and technical event programming
