Could you be our future Program Manager based in Stockholm? Your future role
You will lead the overall Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD) performance of the development program, ensuring targets for quality, budget, planning, delivery, safety and product performance are achieved. Also, you will manage allocated engineering resources and provide leadership to cross\-functional teams.
*This role is primarily focused on program management, driving project execution, delivery, and continuous improvement, while also providing leadership, coaching, and support for a team of engineers.*
We'll look to you for:
Program Management
- Support planning for new R\&D features, maintenance releases, estimations, and lessons learned (REX)
- Define and maintain a detailed development roadmap aligned with solution
- Keep the RD tool updated and workload aligned with the agreed budget
- Secure additional project, bid, or service funding for stable team workload
- Control development performance, schedule, delivery, cost, risks, and savings against approved QCD commitments
- Manage Delivery On\-Time (IOT/DOT) commitments and changes
- Coordinate work packages, capacity planning, resource analysis, risks, and mitigation plans
- Ensure governance compliance through updates and portfolio program reviews
- Verify implementation of Gate Review, Design Review, and Peer Review decisions
- Lead resolution of safety, cybersecurity, major availability, and other critical issues
- Lead the team by setting vision and direction, motivating members, and ensuring clear communication.
- Deliver results by meeting commitments and improving team performance.
- Build capability through skill development, problem\-solving, and process adoption.
- Drive collaboration with engineering peers, cross\-functional teams, and stakeholders.
- Manage people and compliance, track progress on team development plans, manage recruitment, ensure smooth onboarding, conduct salary reviews.
- Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Senior experience in Systems Engineering, Product Engineering or Project/Program Management within railway, digital, automotive, aerospace or similar industries.
- Experience managing project baselines, schedules, budgets and risks.
- Knowledge of full product development lifecycle and engineering processes.
- Experience leading functional or cross\-functional teams.
- Strong stakeholder and customer management skills.
- Strong communication, planning and problem\-solving skills.
- Ability to lead teams in a complex, multicultural environment.
