Job Title: Team Leader

We are recruiting across our B and C Shifts.

B Shift operates Monday to Friday from 3pm to 11pm.

C Shift operates from Sunday to Thursday from 11pm to 7am

Reporting to: Shift Supervisor

Primary Objective:

To ensure that all packing processes are adhered to in line with relevant Standard Operating Procedures and ensuring that cGMP is followed at all times.

Role Responsibilities:

· To encourage and develop production operatives.

· To ensure that cGMP and relevant standard OP are observed at all times.

· To assist with training.

· To ensure required production outputs are achieved.

· To ensure all quality requirements are being maintained.

· To be competent in completion of a BPR.

· To be competent in setting up all production lines.

· To be able to produce and verify QA Samples.

· To ensure all operators are following instructions as per the BPR.

· Liaise with Quality Department.

· Liaise with Engineering.

· Liaise with Customer Services.

· To help maintain discipline within the production team.

· To be able to operate all machinery on production.

· To produce computerised shipper and pallet labels for production if applicable.

· To deputise for the Production Supervisor in their absence.

· To advise the Production Shift Manager of any potential development within your team.

· Take responsibility for your team in the case of a fire.

· You may be required to train others as part of your role

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an experienced and hands\-on Team Leader who thrives in a fast\-paced production environment. You will ideally come from a production, manufacturing or similar operational background, with experience of leading and motivating a team while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.

You will:

• Have previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment


• Have proven experience of leading, motivating and developing a team


• Be a confident, visible and hands\-on leader who is willing to get involved and lead by example


• Have excellent attention to detail, particularly when completing production documentation and paperwork


• Have a good standard of written and verbal English, with the ability to complete records accurately and clearly


• Be comfortable working within strict quality procedures and QA guidelines


• Have strong organisational skills and be able to prioritise effectively in a fast\-paced environment


• Have excellent problem\-solving skills and be confident making day\-to\-day decisions


• Understand the importance of accurate documentation, reconciliation and traceability


• Be able to support your team, address challenges positively and help maintain high standards of performance


• Be a strong communicator who can work effectively with Production Shift Managers, QA, Planning, Warehouse and Engineering

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who understands what good leadership looks like. You will set the standard for your team, take ownership, support those around you and not be afraid to roll up your sleeves and get involved when needed.

Relationships:

Reporting to the Production Shift Managers, the Team Leader is responsible for their designated suite, including quality, performance and output. The role works closely with QA, Planning, Warehouse and Engineering teams to ensure efficient production operations.

Success Criteria:

The Production Team Leaders success will be measured on the quality of products, daily production targets meeting or exceeding the plan and the success and development of the team.
