We are currently looking for a Production Planner to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise, collaborate with skilled colleagues, and contribute to exciting projects across the VARD value chain.

Duties and responsibilitiesDevelop and present detailed activity plans for Interior, HVAC and Piping activities.Monitor progress and identify potential delays, challenges and risks.Coordinate planning activities with project management, production, engineering and relevant planners.Update and reschedule plans when required, and propose recovery actions.Collect weekly progress updates and maintain internal and overall project plans.Participate in production meetings and update schedules based on project feedback.Prepare progress reports, status overviews and S-curves.Monitor budgeted hours against actual hours worked by internal employees and subcontractorsQualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher in project management, logistics, supply chain management, engineering or a related field.Knowledge of shipbuilding processes.Experience with Primavera, SAP or similar planning tools.Excellent Excel skills.Fluent written and spoken English.
